K.G.F: Chapter 2 is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language period action film written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films. It is the second installment in a three-part series, the sequel to the 2018 film K.G.F: Chapter 1. The film stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, and Prakash Raj. It follows the assassin Rocky, who, after establishing himself as the kingpin of the Kolar Gold Fields, must retain his supremacy against adversaries and government officials, while also coming to terms with his past.

Produced on a budget of ₹100 crore, KGF: Chapter 2 is the most expensive Kannada film. Neel retained the technicians from its predecessor with Bhuvan Gowda handling the cinematography and Ravi Basrur scoring the music for the soundtrack and the film's background. Dutt and Tandon joined the cast in early 2019, marking the former's Kannada film debut. Portions of the film were shot back-to-back with Chapter 1. Principal photography for the rest of the sequences commenced in March 2019 but was halted in February 2020 owing to the COVID-19 lockdown in India. Filming resumed five months later and was completed in December 2020. Locations included Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mysore, and Kolar.

KGF: Chapter 2 was theatrically released in India on 14 April 2022 in Kannada, along with dubbed versions in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. It is also the first Kannada film to release in IMAX. The film received mixed reviews from critics.

Anand Ingalagi, the author of the book El Dorado, suffers a stroke the night after detailing the story of Chapter 1. His son Vijayendra Ingalagi takes over from him for Chapter 2.

After killing Garuda, Rocky takes charge as the kingpin of the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), much to the chagrin of Guru Pandian, Andrews, and his aide Daya, Rajendra Desai, and Kamal, who had expected to rule over KGF together. Rocky kills Virat, Garuda's brother and the heir apparent to the KGF syndicate. However, he spares Vanaram, Garuda's trusted aide and the head of the security detail of KGF. Although resentful at first, Vanaram joins Rocky and begins training children to become the new guards of the territory.

Rocky discovers that there are several unexcavated gold mines in the fields and orders his men to start extraction, with the intention of discovering as much gold as possible in the shortest time. Meanwhile, Adheera, Suryavardhan's brother and Garuda and Virat's uncle who was presumed dead is revealed to be alive and stakes his claim to the ownership of KGF. He tricks Rocky out of KGF and shoots him. He allows Rocky to survive so that the word is spread in KGF that the terrifying Adheera is here. Rocky recuperates but realizes that no one is able to move out of KGF as Adheera’s men have surrounded the mines.

Meanwhile, Shetty, Rocky’s ex-boss in Bombay, has tied up with fellow gangsters across West and South India and plans to act against Rocky. They also join forces with Inayat Khalil, the dreaded gold baron of Dubai.
